Ocala Civic Theatre will host its fourth trip to Canada’s Shaw Theatre Festival from October 5-9, 2016

The tour group, accompanied by executive director Mary Britt, will depart from Ocala Civic Theatre on Wednesday morning, October 5, and will fly non-stop from Orlando to Buffalo, New York. The group will travel to Niagara Falls for the first night, staying at the beautiful Fallsview Marriott overlooking the falls. Dinner is at the Canyon Creek Restaurant, with the rest of the evening free to sightsee or visit the fabulous casino next to the hotel.

On Thursday, the group will travel the short distance to the Shaw Festival at Niagara-on-the-Lake in the heart of Canada’s wine country, staying three nights at the luxury hotel Queens Landing Inn. The group will return to Ocala Civic Theatre the evening of Sunday, October 9.

The trip includes your choice of two shows from the 2016 Shaw Festival lineup, including Alice in WonderlandOur Town, Sweeney ToddA Woman of No Importance, Mrs. Warren’s Profession,and Engaged. For your convenience, Ocala Civic Theatre books all tickets and accommodations. For an additional cost, you can add tours of the beautiful wine country surrounding Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The cost is $1,587 per person, double occupancy, if paying by cash or check ($1,647 if paying by credit card).  Options are also available for single occupancy. Registration and payment in full is due by Friday, August 12The trip includes round-trip airfare and transportation to the airports, four hotel nights, two theatre tickets (your choice of six shows), and one dinner. You must have a valid passport for this trip.
