Dream Theatre Company Opens New Location with ANNA, IN THE DARKNESS

Dream Theatre Company unveils its new Dream Laboratory location with a weekly run of the critically acclaimed audience favorite Anna, in the Darkness.  The one-woman psychological thriller will be performed Saturday evenings at 10 p.m. between DTC productions, beginning June 28, 2014, at 5026 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago.

The new 35-seat storefront theatre is an ideal setting for the intimate, raw, artistic, and often experimental new plays that Dream Theatre Company is known for and is exemplified by its definitive work, Anna, in the Darkness. Now in its 12th play is written by Artistic Director Jeremy Menekseoglu and features company member Megan Merrill.

A teacher has barricaded herself in her house while her neighbors in her tiny Texas town mass to kill her … and lucky you – you’re trapped in there with her.

Anna, in the Darkness is currently scheduled for June 28, July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26 and August 2 at 10 p.m. Performances will resume later in the year.
