Creation Entertainment Returns to Chicago August 15-17 for One Last Official Stargate SG·1, Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: Universe Fan Convention
Come through ³the Gate² and join fans from around the world to celebrate SCI FI¹s hit television series Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate: Universe, at the only Official Stargate SG·1/Atlantis/Universe Convention on the planet for one final time. The event takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 15, 16 and 17 at the Westin O¹Hare, 6100 River Road, Rosemont, 60018.
Throughout the weekend, Stargate SG·1, Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate: Universecast members scheduled to appear will include: on Friday, Alex Zahara (Sg-1¹s Warrick Finn) Garry Chalk (Colonel Chekoe), Dan Payne (Stargate: Atlantis Lt. Reed) and Tony Amendola (Master Bra¹tac); on Saturday, Joe Flanigan (Stargate: Atlantis John Sheppard), David Hewlett (Stargate: Atlantis – Dr. McKay), Jason Momoa (Stargate: Atlantis Ronon Dex), Paul McGillion (Stargate¹s Paul McGillion), Cliff Simon (Stargate: SG-1 Ba¹al) and David Nykl (Stargate: Atlantis – Dr. Radek Zelenka); and on Sunday, Michael Shanks (Stargate¹s Samantha Carter),Jennifer Spence (Stargate: Universe¹s Dr. Lisa Park), Jacqueline Samuda(Stargate: SG-1¹s – Nirrti), Teryl Rothery (Stargate SG-1 Dr. Janet Frasier), and Connor Trinneer (Stargate Atlantis Micha el Kenmore).
In addition to celebrity appearances, the non-stop auditorium show will include behind the scenes presentations, costume and trivia contests, no minimum bid auctions of unique collectibles and one-of-a-kind items, and special salute videos and previews of upcoming sci-fi television shows and motion pictures.
On Friday night the fun will continue with The Stargate Celebrity Cabaret withAlex Zahara, Dan Payne and Garry Chalk. A separate ticket is required.
The Stargate SG·1/Atlantis/Universe Convention will also feature on- autographs, photo ops and a variety of licensed merchandise available to purchase in the dealers room.
General admission tickets are available at the door for $20 on Friday and $40 on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for the Friday Night Cabaret are $20. Advance tickets are available through the web at www.creationent.com.
Event hours are scheduled for Friday, 1:00 7 PM Saturday, 10:00 7 PM, andSunday, 10 AM 6 PM (Times are tentative).
