BroadwayHD to Live Stream Argentinian Musical, YIYA El Musical Sept. 8

BroadwayHD will stream YIYA, El Musical live from the lavish Teatro El Nacional in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Thursday, September 8 at 7 p.m. ET. YIYA will be performed in Spanish and presented with English subtitles.  

Thanks to a partnership with Argentinian streaming service, Teatrix, YIYA marks the first time BroadwayHD is expanding its selection to include Spanish-language productions. The partnership will broaden BroadwayHD’s growing on-demand library and further its mission to make theater accessible to anyone, anywhere.

YIYA is a dark, hilarious Spanish-language musical based on the well-known case of the ‘Poisoner of Monserrat’. Yiya is indebted to her best friends and has no choice but to entice them to try one of her famous eclairs in an attempt to wipe them off the map.

YIYA brings Argentina’s long history of professional theater to living rooms around the world through Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast and web browsers.
