Ocala Civic Theatre’s EIGHTH ANNUAL HOLIDAY TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY: DECEMBER 4-7, 2014

This popular trip is a three-night, four-day excursion to one of the most exciting cities in America. Take in several Broadway shows as you experience the holiday hustle and bustle of New York City, decorated and lit up in its dazzling finest.

The trip, accompanied by executive director Mary Britt, includes round-trip airfare, three nights at the four-star Renaissance Hotel overlooking Times Square in the heart of the theatre district, your choice of two Broadway shows, one dinner, and round-trip bus travel from Ocala Civic Theatre to the airports. For your convenience, Ocala Civic Theatre books all tickets and accommodations. Trip cost starts at $1,917 per person, double occupancy, with options available for triples or singles. Payment in full is due by Tuesday, October 28.

There are numerous Broadway shows available to choose from for the two included in your trip package, including Wicked, Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Cabaret, Aladdin, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Motown: The Musical, Cinderella, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots, and Pippin, among others.Other options include the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, New York City Ballet’s Nutcracker, Handel’s Messiah at the New York Philharmonic, and the Metropolitan Opera.

Ocala Civic Theatre, located at 4337 East Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40) in the Appleton Cultural Center, produces more than 12 fully staged, professional-quality live performances each season and also hosts touring companies. The Theatre is volunteer-based and is one of the largest community theatres in the state, serving more than 70,000 Marion, Citrus and Lake County residents each season and reaching more than 800 students ages 4-18 year-round through the Education Department.
