The Gift Box & The Frugal Wine Snob present HOLIDAY SHOPPING DAYS November 20-22, 2014
Beat the Black Friday crowds and join us for a three-day holiday shopping event at Ocala Civic Theatre from November 20-22!
The event is hosted by The Gift Box and The Frugal Wine Snob. The Gift Box is run by ACT 4, Ocala Civic Theatre’s fundraising guild, and features the work of talented local artisans, while The Frugal Wine Snob operates the Ocala Civic Theatre concessions stand.
Holiday shoppers looking for something special and one-of-a-kind can choose from an assortment of fine bottled wines, hand-crafted jewelry, and glass and wooden gift items. Gift certificates to the Gift Box and for Ocala Civic Theatre show tickets are also available.
In addition, paintings by award-winning artist Jacquelyn Schindehette, which will be on exhibit in the Theatre lobby for the month of November, also will be available for purchase. Shoppers can enjoy the exhibit at no charge as part of the event.
The Gift Box and The Frugal Wine Snob will be open to the public for this special event on Thursday, November 20; Friday, November 21; and Saturday, November 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Profits from the event will benefit Ocala Civic Theatre and contribute to Education Department and college scholarships.

Ocala Civic Theatre, located at 4337 East Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40) in the Appleton Cultural Center, produces more than 12 fully staged, professional-quality live performances each season and also hosts touring companies. The Theatre is volunteer-based and is one of the largest community theatres in the state, serving more than 70,000 Marion, Citrus and Lake County residents each season and reaching more than 800 students ages 4-18 year-round through the Education Department. Ocala Civic Theatre is designated as a not-for-profit, 501(c) (3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
