<em>RADIO CITY ROCKETTES</em> To Hold Auditions In Chicago May 7 & 8 For <em>CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR</em> 1 Radio City Rockettes will be holding auditions in Chicago on May 7-May 8 for the Christmas Spectacular Starring The Radio City Rockettes, which is performed annually every holiday season at Radio City Music Hall. This is the first time in 10 years that auditions will be held in Chicago and the first time in 9 years that auditions are being held in cities outside of New York.  For more details and requirements please click here.

Rockettes must be between 5’6″ and 5’10 ½” tall (measurements will be taken in stocking feet). Rockettes candidates must be proficient in ballet, tap, and jazz. To learn more about the history of the Rockettes, click here.

Chicago Auditions Schedule:

    Tuesday, May 7:              12:00pm – Rockettes Open Call
Wednesday, May 8:          10:00am– Rockettes Callbacks

Location: Joffrey Ballet, 10 East Randolph Street, 3rd floor – Studio F

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If cast in the show, performers will be offered an American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA) contract with competitive salary and benefits including 401(k) plan and year-round health insurance.

All performers must be 18 years of age (except Claras) by September 15th of the current year to be considered for casting. If you will be 18 years of age by September 15th but will be under 18 at the time of the audition, you will need to have your parent or guardian sign the standard audition release form, which will be given out at the audition. If your parent or guardian will not be accompanying you at the audition, you will need to download this release form, have it signed by your parent or guardian, notarized by a notary public and bring it with you to the audition.

You must be legally authorized to work in the US and accept employment if it is offered by the Company. If you are hired, you must provide evidence of such authorization in accordance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. All offers of employment are pending successful completion of a background check.

Contract dates range from late September/early October to early January depending on which role you are cast in.

No travel or housing is provided for the performers of the show in New York.
