Born in Santa Monica and inspired by early rock n’ roll, Coco Montoya started his musical career as a drummer at a young age. His career blossomed in the 70s with Montoya partnering with both Albert Collins and John Mayall, at which point he became recognized as an outstanding blues guitarist. Montoya has worked with numerous influential artists while releasing his own collection of original works. In the late 90s, Montoya was awarded Best New Blues Artist at the Blues Music Awards. Since then, he has released a number of records including “Suspicion,” “Can’t Look Back” and “I Want It All Back.”

Singer, acoustic guitarist and songwriter Sam Llanas, formerly of the BoDeans, is known for his unusual and distinctive vocals. Llanas was one of the founding members of the BoDeans under the tutelage of esteemed producer T-Bone Burnett. Over the years, the band has released multiple top 40 mainstream rock hits in addition to recordings that made the top 10 adult contemporary charts.
