A graduate of The John Marshall Law School, Michael J. Roberts is the Founder/Editor in Chief of ShowbizChicago.com, which has become one of the nation's most respected performing arts website featuring reviews, news stories and interviews. Mr. Roberts is also the host of Universal Broadcasting Network's hit national radio program 'Showbiz Nation Live!',and serves as guest host of Chicago Theatre Review for Comcast. Originally from New York, Michael was a founding partner of Encore Theatrical Productions which produced many East coast tours of musicals and plays, including La Cage Aux Folles, Man of La Mancha, The Odd Couple, Guys and Dolls and I Do, I Do as well was was one of the few organizations to manage and produce in several dinner theatres in Western New York. Michael still continues to produce including the U.S. premiere of Jerry Springer-The Opera and Chicago premiere of Bare, A Pop Opera both at Chicago's Bailiwick Theatre, Churchill: The Play and The Four C Notes in various Florida theatres.
