Black and white vintage photos will line the walls of the space that will host longer hours to satisfy late-night sweet cravings. Vanille’s Lakeview location will be open until 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Lakeview will also be the place Evanoff and her talented team of classically trained pastry chefs roll out a new line of gluten-free layer cakes and other additions to their beautifully and brightly filled display cases.

A graduate of Chicago’s French Pastry School, Evanoff’s dream has always been a career in the pastry arts, but not as a chef, rather a business owner. In her more than three years owning Vanille, Evanoff has continued to uphold its tradition of using classic French techniques to create the finest handcrafted pastries, all while expanding business. Vanille’s Lincoln Park location, not only boasts a full café, but The Vanille Salon that plays host to showers, private tastings and scheduled Afternoon Tea services. Ever the entrepreneur, Evanoff even has plans to extend delivery of Vanille’s macarons and confections nationwide by the end of the year.
