From the talented team that brought you Bye Bye Liver and Nerdolgues, comes the announcement of The Public House Theater located at 3914 N. Clark Street.  The theater combines the best of Chicago’s famed sketch community with the producing of highly-polished, professional shows that echo the vibrant theatre scene.

The atmosphere at TPHT will transport you back to the golden age of Hollywood, complete with two unique stages, a 126 seat cabaret-style stage and black-box style stage with lounge seating. Their top-notch producing team will also be working with local veteran sketch groups to create and produce original shows. As producer, Byron Hatfield explains “We will let a time slot sit dark before we fill it with something we don’t think is up to the quality we want to present to our patrons”.

And for fans of Bye Bye Liver, after five years above Fizz on Lincoln, they can find their favorite boozy, social sketch comedy group at TPHT every Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm and 10:00pm. Don’t worry, just because the show has a home of its own, doesn’t mean it’s all grown up.

Please join the cast and crew on Friday, February 22nd to celebrate the opening with a special gala event. The event is open to all and will give people a sneak peek at the new space.
