The Hippodrome Theatre to celebrate Election Night with community watch party

The Hippodrome Theatre will celebrate democracy by watching the polls roll in Nov. 8.
At “Election Night at the Hipp,” the theatre will open its venue spaces to locals, who will have the opportunity to watch the presidential votes tally up and cheer for candidates Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.   The Hipp will stream the results onto its big cinema screen, basement screens and throughout the first floor of the theatre.

The Hippodrome will open its doors and cash bars at 6 p.m. and will serve patriotic drinks all night.  After the new president is announced, attendees will party in celebration until midnight.
We will stream several TV networks, including CNN, FOX, Comedy Central and MSNBC. The event if free and sponsored by COX, but donations are also welcome.
