“THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY” BWAY Cast Album Debuts #1 on iTunes

carousel_bridges The Bridges of Madison County, the original Broadway cast recording of the new romantic musical from Ghostlight Records, has debuted on iTunes as the #1 Cast Recording#2 Soundtrack(behind Frozen) and #14 for all digital albums. The show has music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (The Last Five YearsParade), who also provided the orchestrations; and a book by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning playwright Marsha Norman (‘night MotherThe Color Purple). The Bridges of Madison County, which opened on February 20, is currently running at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). The album – produced by Jason Robert Brown and Jeffrey Lesser, with Kurt Deutsch serving as executive producer – will be released in stores and online May 19.
