THE BOULEVARD FESTIVAL Announces Final Line up!

logo-1Star Events are proud to announce the third annual Boulevard Festival, taking place August 22 through 24, 2014 at 3100 W. Logan Blvd. in Logan Square. There will be two eclectic stages of indie rock, bluegrass, funk and live band electronic music brought to you by Chicago’s favorite independent promoters, Silver Wrapper! This year’s lineup features Ween guitarist’s solo project, The Dean Ween Group, Michigan-based Americana act Greensky Bluegrass, Philadelphia based electronic improvisers Conspirator, Chicago’s own edgy dance rockers Digital Tape Machine, Brooklyn-based indie-dance band Rubblebucket, legendary New Orleans ensemble Dirty Dozen Brass Band and many more! Most recently added to the line up is Nashville Americana Folk band Judah & The Lion, Chicago funk bands The Main Squeeze and The Heard, Chicago Pop/Americana band Jamie Lono and Noble Heart and Nashville singer/songwriter Chris Gelbuda and more!

This year The Boulevard Festival will play host to two after parties. Greensky Bluegrass at Concord Music Hall on Friday, August 22nd. Advance tickets are on sale now for $17.00. Ages 17+. And Conspirator with special guest Dexterous Roy (Featuring Kris Meyer’s of Umphrey’s McGee) will take place on Saturday, August 23rd at Concord Music Hall. Advance tickets are on sale now for $10.00. Ages 18+.

Join fest-goers and experience the city’s most eclectic and engaging street festivals. Attendees, be prepared to indulge in a carefully selected array of craft beers that typically aren’t available at a street festival from some of the best breweries around! And after tasting some of the best brews around, Logan Square’s top restaurants, cafes, bakeries and bistros will be waiting to satisfy your hunger with delicious cuisine that will have you coming back for more. You’ve been warned- this event will blow your taste buds’ minds!

The Boulevard is a classic Chicago event that is as diverse as the Logan Square neighborhood it takes place in. Logan Square is one of Chicago’s most exciting and rapidly growing neighborhoods, filled with artists, students and young professionals. The Boulevard Festival is located on a historic Chicago street that amplifies the festival’s aesthetic with beautiful century-old mansions.  Admission to The Boulevard is a suggested $10 donation, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square.

This festival, produced byStar Events, benefits the mission and outreach of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square, an activecommunity member for over 100 years.


For the third year in a row, Chicago-based independent jam, indie, and dance music promotersSilver Wrapper return to curate all the stages. Silver Wrapper co-produces North Coast Music Festival, Taste of Randolph Festival, Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival, and hundreds of events throughout the year around Chicago.

The Boulevard takes place Friday, August 22 through Sunday, August 24, 2014. The festival is located at 3100 W. Logan Blvd.
