Brazilian-inspired cocktails such as the Caiprifuta in three flavor variations will be available to guests while they participate in a few games Staytion thinks should be included in 2020.

Refresh your weekly routine and celebrate with Rosé Soiree Wednesday, August 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. Rosé is one of the perfect sips to stay cool in the summer. Staytion guests will taste rosé and champagne samples from Thienot and learn which local farmer’s market fresh fruits pair perfectly with the drinks. This is the perfect spot to enjoy an alternative Wine Wednesday.

Slushies are not just for kids! After daily meetings and conference calls, improve your mixology talents with Craft Slushies Wednesday, August 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Gather at Staytion’s mixology station to learn the art of cocktails and craft unique slushies featuring liquors from local distillers like Koval. Sessions begin each half hour with guidance from Staytion’s knowledgeable mixologists, who will help bring each creation to life.

Test your Chicago trivia at Staytion’s Name That Chicagoan event on Thursday, August 25 at 4 p.m. From poets and architects to musical artists and more, Chicago is full of famous people who helped shape the city’s history. Many of these people are featured as caricature artwork behind our Staytion bar. Guests will attempt to match as many pictures as they can to the correct name for a chance to win a free appetizer. While people are guessing, guests will enjoy sounds from local artist M Terrel in the artist studio.

You’ve heard of the Taste of Chicago, but what about Taste the Neighborhood? This event is perfect to celebrate the end of a busy month on Tuesday, August 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. With many flavors that make up the city of Chicago and inspire food fanatics, guests will create their own spice rub with the help of Staytion’s chef, Eric Dougherty. All participants will be able to try their mix with a small bite steak or chicken and take the rest home for their own culinary creation.

Happy hour gets happier this month. In addition to the one-night events listed above, all month long guest can enjoy Staytion’s Daily Bar Ritual, held every Monday through Thursday at 5:15 p.m., when an initiation bell rings to signify that the work day is over and Happy Hour has begun. Guests can watch our mixologist as they create a special punch made with all local and seasonal products. Once ready, it is served complimentary for guests to enjoy until the punch runs out.
