unnamed (26)The holidays are almost here at Drury Lane Theatre as Director and Drury Lane Artistic Director William Osetek helms the holiday classic, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, the Musical.Hailed as a “cozy trip down memory lane” (New York Times) and “a holiday card come to life” (New York Daily News), White Christmas features a cast lead by Sean Allan Krill as Bob Wallace (Broadway: Honeymoon in VegasOn A Clear Day You Can See Forever; Spamalot at Drury Lane), Matt Raftery as Phil Davis (Broadway/National Tour: Beauty and the Beast, Showboat; Meet Me In St. Louis at Drury Lane), Gina Milo as Betty Haynes (Broadway:Les Misérables; Spamalot at Drury Lane), and Erika Stephan as Judy Haynes (The Little Mermaid at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Les Misérables at Paramount Theatre). White Christmas tells the story of two former Army buddies turned Broadway stars (played by Krill and Raftery) who follow sisters (played by Milo and Stephan), who are set to perform at a charming Vermont inn. In an effort to save the inn, the duos team up to put on a festive show packed with Irving Berlin favorites like” Blue Skies,” “Count Your Blessings,” “I Love a Piano,” “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” and “White Christmas.” White Christmas, the Musical, with a book by David Ives and Paul Blake and music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, runs October 29, 2015 through January 3, 2016. Opening Night is set for Thursday, November 5 at 8pm.
