Identical twins, raised separately and unaware of each other, arrive in a strange town seeking marriage.  One is clever, witty, and self-assured, the other timid, shy, and foolish.  Confusion becomes conflict as the twins and townspeople are thrown into chaos when cash, jewels, and declarations of love are delivered to the wrong people.  Played with utter conviction and charm by the Piccolo Theatre Ensemble, the return of characters Beatrice, Brighella, Colombina, Dottore, and beloved Arlecchino are joined by others to fast-paced comic effect in this fresh, energetic production that shimmers with wit and surprise.
