Esperanza Spalding’s Emily’s D+Evolution, released March 4, 2016 on Concord Records, is a daring tapestry of music, vibrant imagery, and performance art from the 4-time GRAMMY winner. Fresh off a 17-city European tour which included performances at the U.K.’s Love Supreme Festival, the Cruilla Barcelona Summer Festival, the Jazz a Vienne Festival and the North Sea Jazz Festival, the genre-bending composer, bassist and vocalist has just completed a new video with director Calmatic (Kendrick Lamar, Jhené Aiko) for her slow-burning hit “Unconditional Love.”
