An all-girl, silent, steampunk play full of debauchery, revenge and insanity! This tale tells of the struggle between an inventor’s scientific obsession and his daughter’s innocent connection to the virtues of humanity. Set to a mournful musical score, Jeremy Menekseoglu’s hauntingly beautiful play takes the audience into dark world reminiscent of turn of the century silent film.

THE MECHANICAL MAN will be performed Saturday 8/30 at 2:30pm, Sunday 8/31 at 8:30pm, Monday 9/1 at 8:30pmThursday 9/4 at 10:00pm, and Friday 9/5 at 7:00pm. Directed by Dream Theatre Company member Greg Callozzo and features members Megan Merrill, Nicole Roberts, Amanda Lynn Meyer, Madelaine Schmitt and Anna W Menekseoglu. Production design by Anna W Menekseoglu and sound design by Jeremy Menekseoglu.

Jeremy Menekseoglu’s plays have been produced in several major U.S. cities as well as internationally. He is currently working on a trilogy of plays and graphic novels titled DREAMCHILD NEVERIST in collaboration with renowned pop surrealist artist, Mab Graves. He is the founder and artistic director of Dream Theatre Company where most of his work has been presented as world premieres.
