Donate to RICKY SCHROEDER’S “IF YOU TIP IT, IT WILL STRIP” Fundraiser for BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS

This is my third year participating in Broadway Bares, and I have to say there is no other event like it. It feels so good to be making a difference while putting on an amazing show dedicated to celebrating our bodies and sexuality, ending the stigma of HIV+ individuals, but also making safe and smart choices when it comes to sex.

The money we raise will help men, women and children across the country who are struggling with HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening illnesses. And it will help provide funding for the essential programs of The Actors Fund, including the HIV/AIDS Initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative and the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic.

I have friends and family members who are HIV positive and although a positive diagnosis is not the same death sentence that it used to be, it still takes a huge financial and emotional toll, and shouldn’t be something anyone has to deal with.

So PLEASE! Make a donation. Whether it’s 5, 10, 15, 50, 100, 200, 1000 or WHATEVER, every dollar helps!! I know money is tight, but if you think about it, a donation of $25 would just mean skipping that $5 latte at starbucks for 5 days. You can do it!!
