With more than 15 million albums sold, 32 number one hits, three Grammy Awards and 45 Dove Awards, Smith is a Christian music icon. Join Raue Center in welcoming Smith on his 2016 USA Tour!

Smith has been making music for more than three decades and shows no sign of slowing down. With 2 RIAA Multi-Platinum, 6 Platinum and 16 Gold certified albums no one would blame the Christian music icon if he decided to coast just a little bit, but that is just not in his nature.

On “Sovereign,” Smith’s first worship album since 2008 and his first project since signing with Capitol Christian Music Group in 2013, he deliberately steps into a new creative chapter to craft a vibrant collection of vertically focused songs with a fresh sense of musical innovation. “You Won’t Let Go,” the first single from “Sovereign,” has quickly become a staple in Smith’s live shows and has given him a triumphant reentry into Christian radio, where the song is being enthusiastically embraced.

Smith has always had a gift for delivering songs that capture the hearts of his listeners and give voice to their thoughts and feelings. During his three decade career, he has shaped the Christian music landscape with classic songs such as “Friends,” which was named the number one song of all time by “CCM Magazine” and “Healing Rain,” a powerful anthem that remains one of the best-loved songs in Smith’s extensive repertoire.
