Asolo Repertory Theatre to Host Community Gatherings to Kick Off Annual Faces of Change Production
Asolo Rep’s Education & Outreach staff will host two story circle gatherings in conjunction with the creation of the theatre’s upcoming community-based documentary theatre piece, Faces of Change, which will culminate in a staged reading on March 19 and 20, 2015. Faces of Change is in its third year of presenting stories from our local area on stage, and in 2015 addresses the themes of economic hardship, difficult choices, class and community also seen in Asolo Rep’s winter production of Good People. Each story circle is a free, casual event intended for community members who are interested in exploring these topics, listening to others’ experiences, sharing their own stories, or learning more about this project.
