 image003American Theater Company continues its 2013-2014 Season with the Chicago Premiere of Sons of the Prophet, written byStephen Karam, and directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli.  Sons of the Prophet will run January 31 – March 9, 2014, at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago, IL.  

Eastern Pennsylvania. Today. Two brothers attempt to keep their Lebanese-American family together after suffering an unusual number of personal losses.  From the author of Speech & Debate and the co-author of columbinus comes this hysterically funny and deeply moving tale of life, love, and loss in working-class America. Winner of the 2012 Drama Critics Circle, Outer Critics Circle, Lucille Lortel Awards for Best Play and a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

The cast of Sons of the Prophet includes Tyler Ravelson (Joseph), Natalie West (Gloria), Will Zahrn (Bill), Greg Anderson (Timothy), Marilynn Bogetich (Mrs. McAndrews), and Carin Silkitis (Dr. Manor)
