80’s Icon SYBIL DANNING In Person At MUSIC BOX THEATRE Oct. 12th & 13th
The 1983 sexploition flick Chained Heat is the standard-bearer for women-in-prison movies, rife with catfights, steamy shower scenes and deviant sexuality. The Exorcist’s Linda Blair stars as the new gal in the cellblock, with Tamara Dobson (Cleopatra Jones) and ubiquitous ’80s Amazon Sybil Danning as warring inmates and John Vernon (Dean Wormer in Animal House) as the wickedly perverse warden. Celebrity nudity connoisseur Mr Skin hosts a screening of the original, uncut theatrical release print with actress Sybil Danningwho will appear in person to sign autographs and indulge fans in a post-prison Q&A. Friday, October 12, 9:30 p.m. at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Avenue.
Danning returns to the Music Box Saturday night for a Q&A following Howling II: Your Sister is a Werewolf, part of the 24-hour Music Box of Horrors movie marathon.
