Showbiz Chicago Photo Spotlight: Amazing Lash Studio Orland Park Grand Opening Event

Grand Opening event for the new Amazing Lash Studio Orland Park that took place Tuesday, August 23 at 14225 S 95th Ave Ste 408. Studio owner Rudy Cortes presented a check to Kerri Twietmeyer of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia after gathering donations during their two-week studio training. Members of the Orland Park Chamber of Commerce then joined Cortes and his family for a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Read more

Chicago Opera Theater’s “The Love Potion” To Debut At Music Box Sept. 30

 For the first time ever, Chicago’s iconic Music Box Theatre will host a classical live performance when Chicago Opera Theater (COT) debuts the Chicago premiere of Frank Martin’s 1942“The Love Potion” (“Le Vin Herbe”) on September 30. Martin’s adaptation of the medieval legend of Tristan and Isolde chronicles the relationship of the two lovers who meet by deception, fall in love by magic and pursue their love in defiance of heavenly and earthly powers. “The Love Potion” will be performed at the Music Box Theatre (3733 N Southport) on September 30 and October 7 and 9, 2016.
