Milwaukee Repertory Theater  launches the Stackner Cabaret 2016/17 Season with Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill. Back by popular demand this intimate evening captures one of the last performances in the life of jazz and blues phenome Billie Holiday.  Alexis J. Michael Griggs (Illinois Theatre’s Long Lost), costume design by Jason Orlenka (The Devil’s Music: The Life and Blues of Bessie Smith), lighting design by Christine BInder (Lookingglass Theatre) and sound design by Victoria Deiorio(Back Home Again).
