Steel Beam Theatre Presents DEATHTRAP through February 11th in St. Charles
Steel Beam Theatre, 111 W. Main St. in downtown St. Charles, presents Deathtrap by Ira Levin continuing weekends through February 10 with performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm.
This witty, chilling mystery tells the story of a writer who will go to any lengths to advance his career, including, you guessed it, murder! A movie version starring Michael Caine and Christopher Reeve achieved great success at the box office, and Steel Beam is proud to present Daniel Scurek as Sydney Bruhl and James Dauphin of Chicago as Clifford Anderson, along with Jeanne Scurek, Sherry Winchester Schultz of Aurora, and Dean Dranias of Lisle in the stage version directed by Bernie Weiler of Aurora. Brian and Roberta Maxfield of DeKalb create the beautiful farmhouse study of the famous writer Sydney Bruhl on Steel Beam’s intimate stage.
Tickets are $25 adults and $23 seniors, with $22 for groups of 10 or more, and may be purchased online at www.SteelBeamTheatre.com or by phone at 630.587.8521. Steel Beam Theatre is an award-winning not for profit theatre now celebrating it 12th season of live theatre in the heart of historic St. Charles.
